Who are The Globetrotter Guys?
The Globetrotter Guys is a gay travel and lifestyle blog which was set up in January 2018.
The Globetrotter Guys is run by Sion and Ben, a married gay couple from the UK who have been together for over ten years and share a passion for travelling the world.
They have partnered with many different companies and brands around the world to help them either promote LGBTQ+ related services, or enter the LGBTQ+ market.
Ben has worked in the travel industry for over 12 years. He started his career winning awards as the best young Modern Apprentice in his first year, to spending the last 3 years as Store Manager of an international high street travel agent in Manchester.
Sion has worked in the professional services industry for the last 6 years, including 18 months working for a charity helping young people into employment. Prior to this, he studied a Masters in Physics at the University of Manchester.
This combination of skills and experience has allowed them to grow their blog and social media presence quickly, understand the travel industry and provide exceptional service to their clients.
They understand the LGBTQ+ travel market (estimated to be worth $3.6 trillion globally) and ensure all collaborations they work on are relevant to their audience.
The Globetrotter Guys have seen strong growth, gained positive feedback on their work so far, and have ambitious plans for the future!
Mission Statement from us
It can be hard enough to live day to day life as an LGBTQ+ person let alone go out of your comfort zone and travel!
We want to try and break down some of these barriers and make travel for LGBTQ+ people easier.
We are doing this through sharing our own experiences, producing LGBTQ+ guides to destinations and interviewing people from all around the world to find out what its really like to be LGBTQ+ in their countries.
We hope to inspire, educate, promote safety and get more people travelling!

When it comes to social media, we have focused on Instagram given it is one of the fastest growing platforms with over 800 million users and the highest average engagement rate. This has proven to produce the best results for the businesses we have worked with.
We place equal focus on website traffic given that blog content is evergreen and provides engagement for a long period of time (indefinitely in theory).
