There is an incredible community of LGBTQ+ bloggers, influencers and instagrammers all around the world!
However, in this post we wanted to focus on those a little bit closer to home and shout out our fellow UK based LGBTQ+ bloggers!
Whether it’s about travelling as an LGBTQ+ person, being a champion of LGBTQ+ rights, an activist, or simply representing part of the community and being visible, these UK based LGBTQ+ bloggers are ones to watch!
We have put together this list based on those that we have met, interacted with or have personally followed for a long time – there are plenty more to discover so we do not mean to exclude anyone!
UK LGBTQ+ Bloggers, Influencers and Instagrammers
Sion and Ben – The Globetrotter Guys
Before we get started, a quick introduction to who we are and what we do.
We are Sion and Ben, a married couple from Wales and England respectively and we set up our own LGBTQ+ blog The Globetrotter Guys in 2018 to document the best in gay travel and lifestyle.
We create content to inform, educate and inspire people to travel from an LGBTQ+ perspective, often with a focus on safety and understanding the nuances of being an LGBTQ+ in that destination.
We also work with a number of brands in many different industries who are active in supporting the LGBTQ+ community, this is something we think is very important for brands to be doing and something like to shout about.
Jenna – The Jenna Way
Heading up to Scotland, allow us to introduce you to another UK LGBTQ+ blogger, Jenna of The Jenna Way.
Self-described as Unapologetic, Queer & Unstoppable, Jenna creates content on queer travel from an authentic and honest perspective
In the LGBTQ+ section of her blog she talks about her life experience as a queer woman, while travelling and in day to day life.
More recently has added on a new project ‘Van Life’ where she is building a queer home on wheels which has its own Instagram account @homosonwheels – we have enjoyed seeing this one come together!

The Adventure Squad is made up of adoptive dads Lee & Tom and their son ‘Pumpkin’, they are adorable to say the least.
They are active on Instagram and as of August 2020 have started a blog where they will be writing about being a family exploring nature, becoming more eco-friendly, avoiding meltdowns and seeking serenity in the outdoors.

What Wegan Did Next
Megan and Whitney (Wegan) are also based in the UK and we met them in Chicago during Chicago Pride Fest.
They do some amazing vlogs on YouTube and initially decided to document their story due to the lack of visible lesbian role models, in particular femme/ lipstick lesbians.
We are also seriously in love with their aesthetic!
